Christmas card

Falling Snow

7:00 AM

I have created a sweet little scene card with delightful Eris who is catching snowflakes. Although this stamp includes snowflakes and a little dragon, I only wanted to use the image of Catching snowflakes Eris for this card. I added gesso, vintage photo distress ink, and diamond stickles to the edges of  a Recollections corrugated card base. I gently used a paintbrush dipped in gesso to add light brushstrokes to the paper giving the effect of snow blowing in the wind. I also used a tapping motion to add little dimensional snowflakes, be sure to just use the tip of the brush and let the paper dry before adhering to the card base.

I love using soft blue colors for Christmas cards, it brings to life the softness of falling snow. Here are the Copic colors and products  used for the image.
Hair: C1, C3, C9, B00, AtYouSpic pen in turquoise
Skin: E0000, E000, E4, E21, R20
Coat/mittens:BG11, BG34, BV23
Fur trim: White Opal Liquid Pearls
Boots:C1, C3, C9 and Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up!
As this will be my last card to post on the blog this month I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Very Merry and Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
