Today I am really thrilled to share the card I created as a guest Designer for Little Blue Button Stamps! Their digital stamps are adorable, and I was really happy to have the opportunity to create with them!
The digi I used for today's card is called Dream Charlie, and I really love the style of the illustration and the romantic feel of this design! I printed it on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored the image with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers. I also used Prismacolor Pencils to add detail to the hair.
I die cut a rectangular panel around the illustration using the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and then fussy cut the top portion of the panel with my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.
I glued the image on another panel that I die cut with dies from the same set out of one of the papers in the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring paper pad.
For the background of the card I used one of the papers from the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes 6x6" paper pad. I die cut it to an A2 size with the largest die in the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies and assembled my card.
For some finishing details I added sparkle to Charlie's bow with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen, and glued down a few Studio Katia Sequins to the top portion of the card.
And that's it for today! A big thank you to Olga for inviting me to guest design for Little Blue Button today, and to you all for stopping by!
Have a great day!
Laura
I currently live in England with my husband, who always supports and encourages me, and is the reason I started exploring my crafty side in the first place.
I love crafts in general, but paper crafts really stole my heart!
I like bright and cheerful cards, and I am always trying to experiment with new media and techniques.
My current favorites are Distress Inks and alcohol markers.
If I am not making cards I spend time either cooking, baking or watching TV shows – but mostly, I am making cards
