Guest DT Tina: Mix Media Holiday Girl

By Olga Odinets - 10:00 AM

Hi! I ́m Tina, I live in a small town in Sweden, Europe!
I discovered the amazing world of paper crafting in 2005 when I made my first Christmas cards.
Stamping, coloring and card making are since then my true passions!
I love vivid colors and fun color combinations and I often add polka dots and glitter to my colored images!

You can find me on Instagram, @tina.mypop and on my blog, www.mypop.se

Hope to see you there!

I am so excited to be Guest Designer with Little Blue Button Stamps for the month of December, thanks for having me Olga!

My first project is a card where I have used the Mix Media Holiday Girl digital stamp.
I love digi stamps as you can change the size of the image to fit your project! I chose this lovely stamp as one of my favorite things to color is skin and hair!

My first idea for this card was to give her a bright red top and a red scarf to make her ready for Christmas! I started with coloring her hair in a brown, red-ish tone and when I was finished, I reconsidered the bright red top and went for a more neutral one instead! To give my card a sense of warmth I chose kraft cardstock instead of white.
I used Copic markers to color the image!

Copics used for her hair: E09, E15, E97
Copics used for her skin: E00, E04, E11, E21
Copics used for her top: W1, W2, W3, W5, W7
